invest in play® (iiP) is an international, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to support children and their caregivers using practical and compassionate strategies which have been proven to work over many decades. We have co-created our parent and teacher programmes with local communities to provide the most current and culturally appropriate, evidance-based interventions to support parents and other caregivers around the world.
Building Stronger Foundations for Children
Despite having evidence-based interventions being available for over 50 years, only 1% of those needing one, ever receive one. invest in play® wants to change that by making programmes which are more cost-effective, easier to implement and more scalable so many more children and families get the effective help they need to help them thrive. To achieve this we have:
Co-created all materials with local families and services to ensure best cultural fit, improving engagement and uptake.
Designed programmes for scale from the outset, providing organisations with the ability to develop their own supervisors and trainers, saving money.
Made delivery and implementation easier, without losing effectiveness.
Created a not-for-profit organisation to ensure cost-effectiveness for those who implement the programme.
All of our programmes are built on the latest research in evidence-based practice, implementation science, parental engagement and cultural acceptability; and have been developed alongside those with lived experiences. Our training empowers professionals to work collaboratively with parents and teachers, enabling them to support children to achieve the best outcomes possible.
